Loveland Pass Discount

Since the first of December Loveland Ski Area has received over three feet of snow enabling the area to open more terrain and more chair lifts in time for the holiday season.  Ski patrol is preparing for the opening of Chair #4 scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th and for the opening of Chair #8 which is scheduled to open Saturday, December 16th.  By Saturday Loveland expects to have 50% more terrain open to the public.

�Mother Nature has certainly been helping out this season. Snowfall totals this year are double what we saw last year for the same time period.  I�ve heard a lot of guests commenting that the snow out there is what they would expect to find in the middle of February,�  explains Loveland Marketing Director, Scott Fortner.

Loveland will also open its newly designed terrain park this weekend on the �Drifter� trail serviced by Chair #2.  Loveland�s upgraded terrain park will encompass seven acres and offer five different terrain features for snowboarders and skiers.

LIFT TICKETS:  Beginning Saturday, December 16th, 2000 Loveland Ski Area will implement the following �regular season� daily lift ticket rates:

Adults (ages 15-59):     $41
Children (ages 6-14):     $17
Seniors (ages 60-69):     $32
Half Day/Flex-Ticket:     $31
Children 5 and under ski for FREE.

LOVELAND PASS DISCOUNT CARD:  The FREE lift ticket that accompanies the purchase of a Loveland Pass Discount Card, has been extended.  With the guaranteed lowest prices, Loveland Pass card holders can easily average a daily lift ticket expense of around $20.  Loveland�s Frequent User Card, is available on-line at www.skiloveland.com, by phone at 800-736-3SKI or at the Loveland Ski Area ticket office.

FLEX-TICKET:  During regular season (December 16th, 2000 through April 15th, 2001) Loveland offers the flex ticket.  This flexible lift ticket allow skiers and riders the opportunity to hit the slopes during any four consecutive hours of the day.  The cost of a Loveland Flex-Ticket is $31.
