Romance in the Islands

Four Seasons Resort Maui

Maui is probably the most popular island in the world and it invokes the romantic in all of us.  Guests at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea now have two extravagant options in preparing the stage for romance.

Ultimate Romantic Dinner

Seasons Chef de Cuisine Kevin Takei will prepare the Ultimate Romantic Dinner for two at Seasons Point just steps away from his signature restaurant.  Set atop a gushing waterfall and surrounded by colorful tropical foliage and koi ponds, Seasons Point permits an expansive view of the Wailea coastline and brilliant Maui sunsets.  The private table is set replete with fine china, crystal, silver, linens, candlelight and tropical flowers.

Couples savor a bottle of Perrier-Jouet, Fleur de Champagne, as a leisurely-paced dinner is served by a personal waiter attending to every detail.  The four-course menu selection is prepared in advance with consultation and includes dessert and coffee.  Price per couple is $650, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and advance reservations are required.

Bougainvillea Trail

The Bougainvillea Trail is often requested for unsuspecting spouses or newlyweds. Resort housekeepers gather the flower petals throughout the resort by day and while guests are out of their rooms in the evening, they leave a bougainvillea trail from the bedroom door to a drawn bubble bath amid aromatherapy candles and soothing CD music.  A dozen roses and bottle of house champagne complete the romantic experience.  Price for the Bougainvillea Trail is $215, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

A Bougainvillea Trail can be prepared from the door to the bed, complete with an iced bottle of house champagne for $125, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
