Thai the Knot and Honeymoon in HeavenThe Regent Resort Chiang Mai Nestled in the lush Mae Rim Valley in northern Thailand and featuring 64 Pavilion suites and eight, private two- and three-bedroom residence suites, the resort offers both seclusion and privacy. Couples from all over the country get married at the resort. Those who are already married in their country of residence can arrange to have a traditional northern style blessing at the resort, performed by local village elders or alternatively, by Buddhist monks at one of the nearby temples. The resorts staff takes care of every detail, personalizing requirements to each couples taste in an effort to ensure an event that will provide enchanting and unforgettable memories. The wedding organizer works with each couple to compile the menu in conjunction with the executive chef, be it a romantic dinner for two or a banquet for 100. Floral and thematic decorations are tailored to the couples wishes.
After the event, couples can either bask in the resort and indulge themselves with spa treatments and romantic dinners on their private sala (a covered gazebo attached to each suite), or explore the local environs with the resorts personalized excursions.
