Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa

The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, scheduled to open on the Big Island's south coast this fall, has announced three new packages offering great values for travelers seeking soft adventure, a romantic getaway or a fun-filled family vacation. Reservations are now being accepted for the packages, which are available for travel from October 1, 2004 through December 25, 2005.

For active travelers, the Big Experience Package provides the opportunity to explore the Big Island and enjoy a variety of activities. Guests can choose one activity per person per night stayed from the following options: one-tank certified SCUBA dive; snorkel cruise; ocean kayaking; horseback riding; Volcanoes National Park tour; gourmet sunset sail; Kona Coffee plantation tour; surfing lesson; deep sea sport fishing; tropical rainforest/waterfall hike; Sheraton Keauhou luau; round of golf; day-use pass for Spa Keauhou; or a 50-minute massage. Guests may choose to enjoy the same activity more than once but cannot participate in more than one activity per day on the package. A two-night minimum stay is required for the Big Experience Package, and package rates are per night, per room, based on double occupancy as follows: Garden View $390; Ocean Coast View $430; Ocean View $490; and Deluxe Ocean View $570.

The hotel's Honeymoon and Anniversary Package is designed for couples seeking a touch of romance on the Big Island's southern shore. The package includes accommodations, daily breakfast buffet or room service breakfast in bed for two, a Spa Keauhou 50-minute couples massage or two rounds of golf, a private dinner for two in an oceanside cabana, and a welcome gift of champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Requiring a four-night minimum stay, the package prices are per night, per room, based on double occupancy: $390 for Garden View; $430 for Ocean Coast View; $490 for Ocean View; and $570 for Deluxe Ocean View.

The hotel's unique Familymoon Package is designed for family members of all ages, from grandparents to children, traveling together. The package offers 50% discounts on second and third rooms and lots of activity options. The Familymoon Package includes: guaranteed connecting or adjacent rooms; daily buffet breakfast for up to four people; children age 12 and under eat free from the special children's menu when accompanied by a paying adult; supervised childcare for up to two hours daily at the Children's Activity Center (age limitations may apply); every second child free in the daily Kamp Keauhou children's program (ages 5 to 12); one evening's complimentary babysitting service for up to four children, including a complimentary in-room movie; and a choice of two activities for adult family members (two activities total, not per person), selected from the Big Experience Package activity list.

The Familymoon Package requires a four-night minimum stay. Package prices are per night, per room, based on double occupancy: Garden View $500 for the first room ($250 for a second and third room); Ocean Coast View $540 first room ($270 second/third room); Ocean View $600 first room ($300 second/third room); and Deluxe Ocean View $680 first room ($340 second/third room).

Situated on an ancient lava flow on the southern shore of Keauhou Bay, the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa rests on 22 spectacular oceanfront acres.
