Washington's 143-room Hay-Adams Hotel, which directly overlooks the White House on Lafayette Square offers a special amenity for their young guests under 10 years of age. At check-in time, children find their guestroom appointed with a 12-ounce honey bear container full of almond-scented bubble bath. The bear has an accomplice for tub-time, a terry cloth scrub duck that floats and serves as a toy and bath cloth too. Children are encouraged to take home their new bath buddies as a keepsake from the hotel.

Following the bath-time pleasures, a Hay-Adams terry cloth robe awaits for in-room use. These are sized to fit smaller guest and match the adult robes provided for the grown-up guests. The plush, monogrammed bathrobes can be purchased if parents desire to take home matching sets.
