Tips for Frequent Travelers
1.
Don't be alone. Strike up a conversation with a friend
or even a stranger. It doesn't have to be a philosophical
or political debate. Small talk is a great
stress buster.
2.
Listen to Music. Take a portable player or radio with you while on the road.
Music, particularly your favorite
music, will induce relaxation and produce "feel good" hormones known
as endorphins.
3.
Connect with your Gods. Whether you are traditionally religious or observe new
age spirituality,
try to connect with your Gods, by praying
or meditating.
4.
Breathing Exercise: This is one kind of relaxation technique
which can be done virtually anywhere. Try to inhale
through the nose, while slowly counting to five.
Hold your breath for three counts. Slowly exhale
through counting to five. Repeat until you feel better.
5.
Relax Your Muscles: Try to slowly tighten and then slowly relax different groups
of your muscles from tips of your toes to the top of your head, visualizing each stage of
the process.
