Is There Anything Better Than a Spa Visit?
A Free Spa Visit
THE ISPA SPA EXPERIENCE GIVEAWAY –
A GIFT FOR THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT
“I spend most of my time taking care of other people,”
explained Alyssa Royse, the winner of the International SPA Association’s
first Spa Experience Giveaway. “When the phone rang and a kind voice on the
other end told me I was going to a spa for a week, I felt like the universe
was taking care of me!”
Randomly selected from more than 2,000 entries, Royse
was the winner of the inaugural ISPA Spa Experience Giveaway last November.
“As the largest trade association for the spa industry, each year ISPA has
the opportunity to give one consumer the transforming experience of a spa
vacation,” said ISPA Executive Director Lynne Walker McNees. “With more
than 640 member spas to choose from, the ISPA Spa Experience Giveaway winner
has quite an exciting decision to make!”
As the co-founder and
spokesperson for the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, Royse volunteers helping
children who lost a parent in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. When choosing
the ISPA spa member she would visit, this dedicated wife and mother
considered three things she wanted from her spa experience - physical
challenges, soothing indulgences and the opportunity to learn and
incorporate new ways to live her life.
When she added up the three requirements, Royse’s
choice became clear – she decided to head south of the U.S. border for some
well-deserved time to relax, reflect, revitalize and rejoice. In June 2002,
ISPA’s Spa Experience Giveaway winner spent a week at Rancho La Puerta in
Tecate, Mexico.
This year’s winner will choose from more than 640 ISPA
member spas in 55 countries. They will customize their perfect spa
experience, by choosing the Club, Cruise, Day, Destination, Medical, Mineral
Springs or Resort/Hotel Spa that fulfills their dreams.
Starting Nov. 1, consumers can register for the ISPA
Spa Experience Giveaway online at
www.experienceispa.com. A random drawing to select the winner will
take place in mid- December. All entries must be received by November 30,
2002. Only one entry is allowed per person and there is no purchase
necessary to enter the drawing. Complete rules for the giveaway are listed
on the Web site.
For nearly 12 years, ISPA

the spa industry. ISPA’s membership is comprised of nearly 2,000 health and

standards, provide resources, influence policy and build coalitions for the
industry. ISPA’s vision is to revitalize humanity, and its mission is to
educate the public about the value of the spa experience and engage its
participation.
