New Luxury Catamaran Adds to Resort Amenities
It's time to rock the boat, baby. Paraiso de la Bonita
is pleased to announce the newest addition to the resort: a 50-foot
catamaran anchored just off the resort dock.
Appropriately christened "La Bonita", the boat features three
air-conditioned cabins and a private crew. La Bonita is available to all
guests for private excursions and for exploring the Caribbean waters day or
night. Whether it's an all-day group snorkel along the world's second
largest reef or an intimate sunset dinner for two, La Bonita is sure to make
any vacation a memorable one.
Following are a list of excursions offered on La
Bonita:
Snorkeling
Lather on the sunscreen and let the adventure begin!
The world's second largest reef "El Jardin" is just minutes off the shore of
Paraiso de la Bonita, offering some of the Caribbean's most beautiful
snorkeling. The voyage begins at the resort's dock where the crew of La
Bonita welcomes guests aboard and shows them to a private cabin that is
available to them throughout the 4-5 hour journey. After sailing to explore
the outer reef and the vast Caribbean, return to quieter and pristine
waters, and enjoy some of the world's best snorkeling locations. Enjoy a
guided 45-minute tour exploring the underwater world. Once back on board, a
gourmet lunch will be served.
Prices for the snorkeling excursion start at $187 + tax
per person for the boat, plus $70 per person for lunch (prices vary
depending on lunch selected) plus 15% service charge.
Romantic Dinner Excursion
Nothing is more romantic than an intimate dinner on a
luxurious boat under the stars. The dinner excursion, available for private
parties of 2 or more (up to 6), begins with a 45-minute sail to Puerto
Morelos, while guests enjoy resort signature canapés and champagne. After
the exhilarating sail, guests are served a 3-course gourmet meal in tranquil
waters located just off the resort's beach.
Prices for the romantic dinner excursion start at $330
+ tax flat boat fee, $110 per person for dinner (prices vary depending on
dinner selected), plus a 15% service charge. (Note: Wine not included in
prix fix dinner will be charged as an a la carte item.)
Cocktail Excursion
End a long day in the sun with a sunset cocktail aboard
La Bonita. Mingle with other guests at Paraiso de la Bonita on the
Caribbean Sea aboard a sunset sail to Puerto Morelos. As the sun dips just
below the horizon, enjoy cocktails, canapés and good company - a perfect way
to end the day.
The one-hour cocktail excursion is offered from Tuesday
to Sunday. Prices start at $44 per person boat fee, with a $25 per person
canapé and cocktail charge, plus a 15% service charge.
Private Excursion
For those seeking a more secluded, romantic affair,
board La Bonita with your beloved for five hours of unprecedented romance.
Sail the Caribbean Sea, experience the snorkeling of "El Jardin", or enjoy a
private dinner. The Private Excursion can host up to a party of 6 for an
intimate group outing with close family and friends.
Prices are $1980 for the standard five-hour excursion and $300 for each
additional hour. Dinner starts at $85 per person, plus a 15 % service
charge.
Overnight Excursion
Spend the night aboard La Bonita for the ultimate in
intimate and private getaways. Parties up to 6 can experience 24 hours
aboard La Bonita sailing, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the Caribbean Sea.
Enjoy a special gourmet menu prepared by the chef, and complete the evening
with an extraordinary sunset on the incandescent waters.
The overnight excursion is priced at $2750 plus a 15%
service charge and a $50 maritime tax.
