It is simple yet sumptuous…

  • Fifteen stunning bungalows, secluded within a private tropical dry forest reserve, boasting its own, white sand beach and tropical estuary. During the months of July and December, the beach is a nesting ground for giant sea turtles.
  • A variety of innovative tours and activities are offered, ranging from guided nature hikes & horseback riding to reforestation & agro tourism tours. All water related sports such as surfing, diving and sport fishing are offered as well.
  • A functioning reforestation and agriculture hacienda that produces up to 70% of the food for its restaurant, Morgan’s Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge will allow guests to learn about local Nicaraguan agricultural practices. A vanguard agro-tourism project in Nicaragua.
  • An awesome architectural project, entailing a 100 meter hanging bridge connecting the main lodge, pool, bar and restaurant area with the bungalows.  Each afternoon the hanging bridge showcases gaping views of Pacific watercolor sunsets.
  • Morgan’s Rock is a thought-provoking sustainable development project, committed to conserving the environment and helping local communities. Not only is the project helping to safeguard 800 hectares of tropical dry forest but also providing vital employment and education to over 50 families.  Morgan’s Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge complies with the guidelines of the Costa Rican “Certification for Sustainability in Tourism.”
