Dallas Summer Musicals School of Musical Theatre
Director Vicki Squires has announced there will be a free master class
Wednesday, June 9, featuring dancers from Michael Flatley’s Lord of the
Dance, the international sensation appearing at the Music Hall at Fair Park
June 8-13.
Admission to the master class is for
intermediate/advanced students age 12 or older. The class will take place
from 1-2:30 p.m. onstage at The Majestic Theatre, 1925 Elm Street in

More than 50 million people worldwide have seen Lord of
the Dance at sold out theaters, arenas and stadiums. Michael Flatley's Lord
of the Dance continues to be the permanent entertainment production at the
Venetian Hotel's Showroom in Las Vegas. Dallas Summer Musicals audiences
will be able to experience the extravaganza that has helped catapult Irish
dancing into the global spotlight, creating a new wave of Celtic dance
mania.
The Lord of the Dance troupe comprises Irish dance
champions from around the world. These gifted performers stretch every
boundary of a traditional form of dance that has evolved for more than 2,000
years. Michael Flatley, who originated the role of the Lord, serves as the
artistic director and continues to oversee all aspects of the production.
