The FacilitiesThe eight treatment rooms feature sliding cedar doors that may be opened onto a private garden and stereo systems with headphones so guests can immerse themselves in sound therapy listening to their favorite music. Treatment rooms also feature Environmental Therapy: the clay tile floors have actual footprints of roosters, ducks, foxes, Cimarron goats and Chihuahuas. The animals were brought in to walk across the wet tiles to create the prints. Guests enjoy a patio lounge area with plush chaise lounges, state-of-the art hydrotherapy tubs, and separate courtyards for men and women offering sauna, steam, whirlpool and cold plunge. Pavilion on the Sand: Guests can also enjoy salt glow, loofah, sun-lover therapies and other treatments literally at the water's edge with the 12' X 8' pavilion on the sand. The pavilion is made of a cool, sheer-weave fabric offering excellent ventilation and ocean views yet complete privacy because guests can see out out but people can't see in. With the pavilion, the therapeutic ambiance and sounds of the sea are more intensely incorporated into the spa experience. A blend of sea salts and pure essential oils is gently massaged in a circular motion to deeply cleanse, exfoliate and stimulate circulation. After rinsing off, a hydrating lotion is applied leaving skin renewed and silky smooth. The loofah mitt is yours to keep. This gentle body cleansing treatment exfoliates and removes dull surface skin using a granulated pumice stone in a chamomile cr�me base followed by a revitalizing chamomile shower / bath gel loofah. Body Wrap Services
This aloe body wrap provides instant relief from sunburn and helps restore moisture to dry dehydrated skin. Following spritzing with a delightful lavender mist, soothing tea tree recovery gel is applied and you are wrapped to allow penetration of the therapeutic gel. Treatment is completed with rose-hip hydrating lotion. (25 minutes )
To enhance the therapeutic effect of the sun lover treatment frozen marble stones are used to massage the rose-hip lotion creating a tonifying reaction. An exhilarating experience. ( 50 minutes )
The body is cocooned in warm linen sheets steeped in aromatic herbs to relax muscles, detoxify the system and soothe the body. A conditioning lotion is applied leaving the skin soft, smooth and nourished. ( 25 minutes)
Used by the Aztecs and Mayans during their purification ritual, desert clay is designed to exfoliate, nourish and detoxify the body. As the mineral-rich clay infuses the skin, muscles are relaxed and impurities drowned from the system. After the clay is showered off a generous amount of juniper-sage massage oil is applied. Using the combined action of laminaria digitata, spirulina and lithothamne this seaweed wrap imparts essential vitamins and proteins to nourish, revitalize and remineralize .
