BREATHE EASIER

by Howard Miller M.D.

I hate stinking, stale, musty air.  It smells awful, makes me sneeze and clogs my nose.

But now I will suffer no more.  I've tried the Peak Air Purifier from Alpine Industries and found that it will produce fresh air wherever I need it.  The Peak actually works to clean the air like lightning does during a thunderstorm.  So if you like the smell of clean fresh air after a storm, you'll love Peak.

I found it effective in removing any type of odor quickly, even after cooking fish.  It seems to easily handle a rather large area.  It is quiet, compact, quite rugged and unobtrusive.  At home I keep it on top of the refrigerator.  Its a bit heavy to lug on an airplane, but its quite small and easy to pack on a car trip to use in a musty RV or take to a cabin that needs freshening up.  They do make a smaller model, the Bora which is lightweight, tiny, and easy to carry which should be fine for hotel rooms.

The Peak works by generating ozone, ions, and filtering the air as well, so it should help remove both odors and particles.  It will also kill bacteria.  It requires periodic cleaning, but no replacement of filters.

High ozone levels can be dangerous, especially for those with respiratory illnesses.  However the Peak air purifier has a steady low level output, so it should not cause any difficulty for most people, and its removal of odors and particulates should be of some real benefit for those with reactive airway disease.  I myself fall into this category, so with the Peak I breathe easier and enjoy the smell of fresh air as well at an operating cost of about a nickel a day!
