DOUBLE 0-7 IS “FOR YOUR EYES ONLY”

“DOUBLE-0” SUITE AT THE BRITISH COLONIAL HILTON

Stay Where Bond Shot Two Flicks in Suite Laden with Movies, Posters, Books & Movie Stills

Since two James Bond flicks were shot at the British Colonial Hilton, a "Double-0" Suite laden with Bond movies, posters, books, CDs and movie stills was just unveiled. Both "Thunderball," the fourth Bond movie with Sean Connery,* which was shot in 1965, and "Never Say Never Again," released in 1983 also starring Connery, were filmed at the British Colonial.

The "Double-0" Suite (double-0 is the prefix for British agents who have a license to kill) is stocked with movies such as "License to Kill," "For Your Eyes Only," "Tomorrow Never Dies," "Goldfinger," "Live and Let Die," "Thunderball" and "Golden Eye." In the mood for music? Pop any of the three Bond CDs, including "18 James Bond Film Themes," into the CD player. Guests might feel as though they’re being watched as a bevy of 007 posters and movie stills line the walls with famous faces such as Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. Perfect for beach reading (the British Colonial Hilton is the only property in Nassau with a private beach), guests can take a Bond book from the suite such as "The World Is Not Enough" or "Tomorrow Never Dies" to curl up with on chaise lounge.

For guests who fancy a dive, the British Colonial Hilton can arrange for Stuart Cove (which trained the Bond movie doubles) to take them down under to see the 120-foot freighter that was sunk for the movie "Never Say Never Again" and the "Valkin Bomber" airplane from "Thunderball." Both wrecks are actual sets from the movies that lie beneath the surface at a depth of 40 feet.

Essential Information:
