Free Lift Tickets

Crested Butte Ski News

Crested Butte Mountain Resort enters the 1999-2000 season the same way it ended the last, with Free Lift Tickets to everyone, one more time. For the ninth year in a row, Crested Butte offers the best deal in snow country for six weeks of the entire season. From November 19 - December 18, 1999, and again from April 2 - 16, 2000, ski or snowboard as many days as you want, on us. No strings attached. It's the last year Crested Butte Mountain Resort will offer a "no strings" Free Lift Ticket promotion.

Learn to Ski

Bring the family and save on lodging and lesson packages, too. For first-time skiers age 13 and older, an all-day lesson costs only $17 during the same dates as the Free Lift Ticket promotion. Lodging packages start at just $114 per person, including 3 nights lodging, and additional discounts on recreational ski rentals and individual or group ski school lessons are also available. Call Crested Butte Vacations at 800-544-8448 for reservations.

Teocalli Bowl Re-Opens

Teocalli Bowl, an additional 274 heart-stomping acres in Crested Butte's renowned Extreme Limits, re-opens next season after a five-year closure. This extreme, backcountry-style, patrolled terrain for experts only is accessed off the High Lift offering more thrills, adventure and unparalleled views off the upper ski area boundary ridgeline.

New Teen Ticket

As a family-owned resort, Crested Butte prides itself on offering great programs for families. New next season is the Teen Ticket for teens age 13-17, just $40 a day for a full day lift ticket all season long. And younger kids 12 and under continue to Pay Their Age per day for their lift tickets (e.g. 10 years old, 10 bucks).
