What London Cooking School is as famous
as the French cooking schools?
By Madelyn Miller
England has never been famous for its food. But that is changing. Wonderful
new restaurants are popping up all over London. Many of them have
been greatly influenced by Internationally-acclaimed chef, Anton Mosimann,
who is planning an exclusive Gourmet Cookery Tour in London in early
October 1998.
This unique, six day tour will include Anton Mosimann demonstrating
his skills at the Mosimann Academy, a reception at one of the most exclusive
and sought-after private venues in London, a private wine tasting by Serena
Sutcliffe, Head of Sothebys International Wine Department, a Mushroom
Hunt with Mosimanns picnic, and a Gala Dinner at Mosimanns Private Dining
Club in Belgravia, hosted by Anton Mosimann.
Students will sample and learn to create Cuisine Naturalle, the healthy
eating style which Mosimann pioneered. Between meals and classes they will
have several exclusive opportunities to get to know the insider's London.
I am thrilled that we have been able to arrange such a wonderful program
of events for this Tour says Anton Mosimann. London is the most
exciting food destination in the world at the moment, and I and my colleagues
look forward to sharing our knowledge with our guests. I know we
will have a lot of fun as well!
Susie Worthy, Managing Director of Worthy International Travel, who
is making the travel arrangements for the tour commented Working with
as renowned a chef as Anton Mosimann has been a wonderful experience.
Many US Presidents have enjoyed his food in the past: this is the opportunity
to enjoy it for oneself. This annual tour looks set to be a great
success.
Cost: £2,255 per person sharing a twin-bedded room
This is about $3833.
