your milestone event. The Perfect Proposal Package includes a custom-designed
diamond ring from Idar Jewellers, a romantic getaway at The Aerie Resort, and
the "keys to the candy store" at Chocolates by Bernard Callebaut in
Victoria. The award winning Arabesque
ring is named for its elaborate handmade scrollwork, executed in 18K yellow
gold, 19K white gold, and platinum. The Arabesque features a half-carat diamond
set in a handmade platinum half bezel and positioned to allow viewing of the
microscopic engraving of a polar bear that denotes the diamond's Canadian
origin. The diamond can also be engraved with the year and the customer's name,
making it truly unique. The Aerie Resort, voted one of
the Best of the Best by Conde Nast
Traveler magazine's 1999 Readers' Choice Awards, is located high atop the
Malahat Mountain pass, just 30 minutes north of Victoria. The package includes
two nights' suite accommodation with one dozen long stem red roses, a bottle of
Pacific Northwest sparkling wine, chocolate truffles from Bernard Callebaut,
and a large fruit basket in the suite upon arrival. The package also includes a
five-course dinner for two, a breakfast hamper, and a full breakfast in the
resort's dining room. The celebration isn't complete
without a decadent evening of chocolate and champagne. The package includes an
intimate party for two in a candy store. For two-and-a-half hours, a bottle of
BC's best champagne or ice wine, as well as dessert liqueurs, will be paired
with every variety of chocolate. Couples will also leave with a champagne
