TITAS PRESENTS THE RETURN OF STOMP!The Smash Hit is Coming Back to Dallas Stomp, the international percussion sensation, makes its triumphant return to Dallas April 18 to 23, 2000, at McFarlin Auditorium (show times are: 8 p.m. on April 18, 19, 20 & 21; 5 p.m. & 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 22; 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 23). After playing to sell-out crowds for over five seasons, Stomp continues its phenomenal runs with two concurrent national tours, covering over 100 cities on the road, as well as the New York company's continuous sell-out run at The Orpheum Theatre, now in its 6th year.
Stomp has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, numerous awards, and television appearances ranging from "The Late Show with David Letterman" to "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood." Stomp currently has a series of award-winning commercials. They were nominated for an Academy Award for the short film Brooms by Stomp co-creators/directors Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. And, most recently, their 45-minute HBO special, Stomp Out Loud, earned a 1998 Emmy Award. From their record breaking at London's Royal Festival Hall, to the Acropolis in Athens, and throughout Canada, Asia, and South America, the eight-member percussion groups create a sensation.
