A ‘WORKING RANCH’ VACATION IN THE US
Spirit of the Horse Riding Weekends at Gunflint Lodge,
Grand Marais, Minnesota
Do you love horses? Do you want to nurture their spirit
and yours? Join other women in creating a learning environment that truly
honors each being. Learn to appreciate the horse as a sensitive being capable
of forming relationships. Take leisurely trail rides through the north woods at
the height of the fall’s color, and prepare for these excursions by being a
part of a women's workshop where one can learn about bonding to her horse
through instruction and time spent grooming the horse. Learn about human and
horse communication, and how horses think. Receive basic riding instruction,
and participate in yoga for equestrian's classes to help improve ones basic
alignment, riding posture, and relaxation response to promote greater harmony
with the horse. As a compliment to learning horsewoman skills, time will
be taken for reflection and guided imagery used to explore what the horse means
to participants as teacher, totem, dream, and vision. Music and energy work
will be integrated into the instruction as a means of helping everyone move
into her highest vision. There will be a structured workshop format, as well as
some free time to rest and relax. This 3-night retreat is limited to 10
participants. Cost is $443.00 per person plus service charge and sales tax,
which includes: accommodations, all meals, all horse back rides, all of the
