Black Bear Tour and a special salmon welcome gift.
Guided by a Michael Allen, local Black Bear researcher, guests will go on
a 3-hour 4 x 4 tour of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains to visit active bear
dens, daybeds and the feeding sites of the fifty Black Bears that call the
mountains home. Guests will experience spectacular views of wildlife and
glacial peaks through deep old growth hemlock and cedar forests. Michael’s
dedication and passion for Black Bears makes the tour an unforgettable
experience.
Proceeds from the Black Bear Tour will be going towards the construction
of a mountain ecology and Black Bear research center on Whistler Mountain.
