Sabra and Israeli Celebrity Eytan Schwartz Bring a Twelve
Foot Plate of Hummus to ‘Israel Non-Stop’ at the JCC in Manhattan
WHAT: Sabra will unveil a twelve foot plate of hummus to
set a Guinness World Record™ as part of an annual celebration of Israeli culture
in New York City. The custom-made plate will contain at least 500 pounds of
Sabra hummus and will be served, along with Sabra’s other products, to hundreds
of New Yorkers at the free event.
WHO: This event is an initiative of Sabra, a leading
manufacturer of Mediterranean dips and spreads, Eytan Schwartz, ‘cultural
liaison’ and winner of Israel’s most successful reality show ‘The Ambassador,’
and the JCC in Manhattan in an effort to bring New Yorkers a taste of Israel’s
favorite food. (Late last year, Sabra drew attention by sculpting a bust of
Mayor Bloomberg out of hummus just one week after his reelection.)
