Fire Up Disney World in NASCAR Style

Commanding visitors to the Walt Disney Speedway can put their foot down and take control of their own NASCAR style cars. Those over eighteen with a valid driver’s license can train to race the 600 horse power cars around the mile long tri-oval, reaching speeds which exceed 100mph.

There are three different driving programs and a ride-along option on offer at the Richard Petty Experience. There are also professional instructors on hand to drive home the essential do’s and don’ts of track protocol and safety.

Rookie Thrills

Learn about track safety and receive an orientation before taking one of the race cars out for eight laps.

Your Kingdom for Some Horsepower…
The King’s experience boasts 16 laps around the track, divided into two 8-lap sessions.

The Experience of a Lifetime
Visitors can work on establishing their own comfortable driving line and on building up their speed during a series of three 10-lap sessions.

Rocket Ride-Along
Passengers over 16 years of age can sit in for 3 laps at a top speed of 145 mph.
