Chili Harvest Festival at the Denver Botanic
Gardens
Denver Botanic Gardens and CHAC (Chicano Humanities and
Arts Council) will host a Chile Harvest Festival honoring Spanish speaking
cultures that have incorporated the chile pepper into their lifestyles on
September 6th and 7th from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. The grounds of the Gardens will
resonate with activity as guests enjoy eclectic Hispanic performances and
visit over 25 vendors offering authentic original art, jewelry and food.
Great entertainers including Hispanic Storytellers,
dancers and bands will perform throughout each day. Flavorful cuisine
including delicious chile roasters grown by Denver Botanic Gardens will be
available from Tosh's Hacienda, as well as savory Mexican food from
Rosalinda's Café and Señor Sol. Over 20 artists will be selling their
sculptures, jewelry, watercolors, acrylics and more including Dan Muniz,
Tony Ortega, Ann Romero and Meggan DeAnza.

All Proceeds go towards the enhancement of the Gardens'
education and conservation programs, and to support several programs at CHAC
