Receive Highest Award of Excellence
Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach
recognized for seventh consecutive year
A trio of Fiesta Americana resorts in Los Cabos, Cancun
and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico have each received the Pinnacle Award,
conferred for the past 20 years to the world's top meeting-site hotels and
resorts, as determined by an annual vote among the 72,000 readers of
Successful Meetings magazine.
The Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos, the flagship of
the Fiesta Americana chain, received its first Pinnacle Award, for
outstanding service and capabilities in a variety of categories, including
meeting space and equipment; quality of guest rooms, guest and business
services; quality of food and beverage service; quality and variety of
recreational activities; and technical capabilities. The Fiesta Americana
Grand Coral Beach in Cancun, a sister property, received the Pinnacle Award
for the seventh straight year. Also receiving Pinnacle recognition is the
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta, which has held the honor for six years.
The three Fiesta Americana awardees join just 46 other
international resorts who earned the Pinnacle honor this year. Industry
experts liken the Pinnacle Award to other prestigious travel awards, such as
the Mobile 5-Star and the AAA 5-Diamond award - which the Fiesta Americana
Grand Coral Beach, Cancun, recently received for the 10th consecutive year.
"It's a great honor to receive this award from such a
respected audience as the meeting planners themselves," said Luis Sanchez,
manager of international promotions for the Fiesta Americana properties. "We
pioneered the meetings and incentives business in Mexico and take great
pride in continuing to serve at the highest level of excellence."
The Fiesta Americana resort in Los Cabos boasts a Jack
Nicklaus golf course that has been named one of the World's Top 100 Courses
by Golf Digest. The Cancun property is particularly noted for its
spectacular ocean views and gourmet dining. The Puerto Vallarta resort, now
celebrating its 25th anniversary, boasts newly renovated guest rooms, a
redesigned executive floor and redesigned pool area and oceanside
restaurant.
To celebrate its 25 years in the meetings industry,
