14th Annual Taste of VailCulinary and wine lovers – mark your calendars for the 14th Annual Taste of Vail, which has been slated for April 7-10, 2004. Upwards of 5,000 people from all 50 states and three nations are expected to attend. They will be treated to gourmet food and decadent desserts from more than 30 of the Vail Valley's world-class restaurants. They will also enjoy the best wines from more than 50 of the nation’s most noted vintners, selected on an invitation-only basis. Guests to the nation’s premier spring wine and food festival will also experience the relaxed elegance synonymous with Vail, from the fine art galleries and upscale shops to the European-style pedestrian village and international flavor of many languages spoken throughout town. Mother Nature provides the dramatic setting for the Taste of Vail, with incomparable views of the Vail Valley surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains set against Colorado’s glistening snow and cobalt-blue skies. While the Taste of Vail is an event designed to showcase the Vail Valley lifestyle and mystique, it also serves a humanitarian purpose for the local community by raising money for Vail Valley charities. Since it began 14 years ago, the Taste of Vail has dispersed more than $240,000 to charitable programs in the Vail Valley.
