You are Never too Young to Visit Israel
Record Numbers of Jewish Youngsters Visit
Israel in Winter 2004
Ten thousand youngsters are scheduled to participate in
the birthright programs this winter. Minister Benny Elon stated “the
tourism industry is the only branch that creates jobs in the market” and
according to Natan Sharansky, the average income to the state of Israel
since this project started four years ago, is 84 million dollars.
The birthright project connects students and young
people 21-26 years connects students and young people 21-26 years old to
their Jewish identity and to the state of Israel. As part of the program

return home, they become goodwill ambassadors and advocates for Israel on
