BritRail launches new website with a lot of laughs
To launch it's new website,
www.scotlandrailways.com, BritRail is sponsoring a contest for the best
Scottish-themed joke or story. The winner of the 'Highland Laughs' contest,
which runs through January 31, 2007, will win two first class four day BritRail
FlexiPasses and a pair of VIP Edinburgh Passes. The winning entry will be posted
on the new website, which has information on key Scottish rial routes and
destinations.
The site includes a video featurette, BritRail's Scottish
travel productions, quarterly contests and a news section. Visitors to the site
will find information and booking access to rail travel products like the
BritRail Pass, good for rail travel in Great Britain, and the Scottish Freedom
Pass, which is valid for rail, bus and ferry travel through Scotland, it's
highlands and islands. Scottish Sleeper travel packages and complimentary
products like the Edinburgh Pass, which allows free entry to over 30 major
attractions in the Scottish capital, are also available.
The site is also a source for destination information and
has a Frequently Asked Questions section to guide you through your rail travel
experience. The News Center lists up and coming Scottish events like "Highland
2007" - 41 days of events in Scotland that will celebrate the culture of the
Scottish Highlands.
