New Thai Services Go Beyond Massage
Daired’s Salon and Spa Pangéa Introduces
“The Spirit of Thailand”
By Madelyn Miller
I have traveled the world, searching for the best
massage. I have had massages in a Korean Bath House in Australia, my body
has been rubbed with native herbs and grains, wrapped in seaweed and even
submerged in mud.
Yet I returned to Dallas and found a wonderful spa
right in my own backyard. And now they are doing my favorite kind of
massage, Thai massage.
Daired’s Salon and Spa Pangéa is now offering a full
menu of traditional Thai services to pamper and sooth the spiritual,
physical and emotional well being of its guests.
Committed to offering an authentic experience, Spa
Pangéa’s lead massage therapist spent six intense weeks in Thailand studying
the philosophy, methods and culture. Spa Pangéa’s entire spa staff has now
become knowledgeable and passionate about the Thai approach. The result is
an array of Thai treatments that leave guests feeling rejuvenated, energized
and healed from the inside out.
Introducing the new services under the promotional
umbrella of “The Spirit of Thailand” Spa Pangea’s Thai treatments include:
-
Traditional Thai Massage: a harmonizing experience of
stretching, massage strokes and yoga-like movements. Performed on a
padded mat, the guest is moved into classic, beautiful movements by the
therapist. The nurturing touch of human contact contributes to the
relaxation and healing effect. ($95)
-
Boreh Scrub: a heat therapy using a combination of
exotic spices that stimulates the circulation and warms the skin with an
aromatic blend. ($80)
-
Thai Honey Lime Cucumber Facial: Naturally clear Thai
honey and lime are used in a gentle face massage followed by a mask of
freshly sliced cucumber to create an extraordinary facial that reduces
discomforts of skin irritation and promotes new cell growth. ($85)
-
Thai Manicure/Pedicure: Combining traditional Thai
massage and reflexology techniques along with a Kemiri Nut scrub, honey
milk lotion and flower mask followed by a ginger moisturizer, leaving skin
rejuvenated, energized and silky smooth. (pedicure $75; manicure $50)
-
Thai Floral Coconut Milk Bath: Fresh coconut milk and
a custom blend of botanicals are added to our hydrotherapy bath for an
invigorating treatment that is very softening to the skin. ($85)
-
Thai Mineral Wrap: The white Thai mud used in this
wrap is known to draw out impurities, aid in healing and deeply moisturize
the skin. ($95)
