New-D Twist on Nude Weddings
The Bride Wore a Skin Tight Dress - Literally
Hedonism III's 4th Annual Nude Wedding in June; "Naked
Air" to Jamaica for Unfettered Flyers
"Marry when June roses grow, over land and sea you will go."
For brides who believe it's bad luck to make their own
wedding dress - hang in there, grooms, it gets better - Hedonism III's
fourth annual Group Nude Wedding offers them the perfect way out - out of
making their own dress or even wearing one, that is. This June, for
the first time at the SuperClubs resort, home to the annual Naked Nuptials,
brides and grooms may share in the blessings of a traditional June wedding
while dispensing with nothing but their clothes. In previous years, the
event has been held on Valentine's Day. Also this June, for those who
like to travel light, really light, Castaways
Travel is redefining the meaning of "flight suit" with roundtrip charter
flights on "Naked- Air" from Miami to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Once the flight
reaches altitude, guests are permitted to disrobe en route to their
clothing-optional holiday at Hedonism III.
"Something Borrowed, Something Nude" The
month of June was named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage and family
- one reason June has long been a popular month for weddings. Balmy summer
weather is another reason June is a favored month for brides, grooms and
their wedding planners - and a persuasive factor in stripping down to the
bare essentials of the natural state. Planned for June 23, 2004,
SuperClubs' Hedonism III in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, will give couples a way to
bask in each others' reflected glory while literally embracing the elements.
As in the three previous years (when the event was held on Valentine's Day),
couples will simultaneously exchange or renew their vows in "The World's
Largest Nude Wedding" ceremony.
No Rebuff Of Traditional Marriage Vows For Buff Couples
"Taste and tradition are vitally important to newlyweds, even risqué ones,"
said Zein Nakash, SuperClubs' vice president of marketing. "By hosting our
fourth annual Nude Wedding in the very traditional month of June, we're
accentuating the ritual of marriage without inhibiting those who want to add
a dash of daring to their exchanging of vows."
Couples interested in exchanging or renewing their vows in the nude this
June 23 should call 1-800-GO-SUPER ext. NUDE. Packages start at $1,014 per
couple (land only, three-night minimum), and include a marriage license,
flowers, music, minister and the services of Hedonism III's on-site wedding
coordinator who will manage all arrangements. Government fees of $150 for
marriages and $100 for vow renewals are additional. Naked Air
charters from Miami to Montego Bay start at $499 per person for June 19 -
26; visit http://naked-air.com for details.
Each year, SuperClubs is responsible for bringing together
thousands of couples in holy matrimony as part of its Free Weddings program,
which is included in every three-night or more vacation package. Making
couples' dreams come true has always been a serious commitment (and
sometimes a challenge!) for SuperClubs, which has in the past hosted a wide
variety of bridal ceremonies, from a soaring trapeze wedding and reception
atop a giant sand castle wedding cake, to the more traditional romantic
ceremonies aboard a luxury yacht, and tropical barefoot on the beach
weddings. For more information or reservations, contact SuperClubs at
