Stay Connected
Hotel Wireless is what business travelers have needed and
now have: a one-stop-shop for locating, booking and finding support for hotels
with a reliable Internet connection.
Internet is one of the most requested amenities for
business travelers today. Business travelers need to stay connected and finding
a hotel with a reliable Internet connection has been daunting and difficult.
Troy Janisch, founder of Hotel Wireless and frequent
business traveler, has found that locating hotels that have a good Internet
connection is extremely difficult and he has experienced less than stellar
Internet at hotels across the country. While booking a hotel room for a
convention in Las Vegas, Janisch didn't think that finding a room with good
internet would be a problem. It wasn't a problem, it was nightmare. Casino web
sites were unclear of their Internet offerings, six booking agents were unable
to verify a high-speed Internet connection and after calling dozens of casinos,
only one was able to verify that Internet was available for an extra $150. In
Las Vegas the buffets were great, but the Internet was marginal. It disconnected
frequently and no technical support was available.
Less than a month after going to Las Vegas, Janisch was on
business in San Francisco and stayed at a client recommended hotel with wireless
Internet. Not only did the Internet work in the hotel room, it worked in the
bar, near the pool and in semi-public meeting rooms. Janisch and his associates
were hooked, and Hotel Wireless was born. Hotel Wireless now provides the
missing link between hotels and travelers.
"This is a must use site for business travelers if they
want to maintain their successful business while away from home," said Janisch.
The site boasts thousands of properties for users to search
from, along with ratings of the hotels from other travelers. Each property is
listed with rates, type of internet provided and guest comments. Perhaps more
unique is the site's customer care section. This area allows users to ask
questions they may have about wireless internet or search from a list of
frequently asked questions. The site also provides information on technology and
products related to the wireless and high-speed industry.
