A Special Valentine’s Day in the Desert

Edited By Jennifer Price

Ahh, Valentine’s Day: the cards, the flowers, the chocolate, the food, the time spent with your loved one.  The Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix is offering special deals combining all of the above for couples looking for an out of the ordinary way to celebrate the day.

The resort, nicknamed the “Jewel of the Desert” is well-known for its luxurious facilities, which include a full-service Spa, Salon and Fitness Center, two 18-hole golf courses, and an 18-hole putting course.  Dining here is always a pleasure with two main restaurants and poolside dining with a swim-up bar.

Treat yourself and your partner to some of the special “Foods of Love” spa treatments being offered this Valentine’s Day.  You could try an 80-minute Strawberries and Champagne Facial, made from rare pinot noir grape yeast with super antioxidants that care for your skin, while you enjoy eating fresh strawberries.  Or try the Strawberries and Champagne Manicure or Pedicure.  You can gorge on sweet strawberries while your hands and feet are pampered with the same pinot noir grape yeast that will leave the skin on your hands and feet soft, radiant, and ready for a special night out.  To give your full body a decadent treat, go for the Strawberry Chocolate Delight Body Treatment.  Beginning with a strawberry foaming, exfoliating cleanser and followed by a 50-minute massage with rich chocolate oil, your body will thank you.

For those looking for a dinner to remember, enjoy the feasts being offered by the resort’s restaurants.  A five-course Valentine’s Tasting Menu will be featured February 8th to February 13th in Wrights at The Biltmore, the resort’s signature four-diamond restaurant.  Then, of course, on Valentine’s Day a special five-course Holiday Menu will be offered.  Both menus include a half bottle of champagne for diners, two chocolates, and a long-stemmed rose for the ladies.  The Biltmore Grill & Patio offers dining indoors or outside under the stars with an outdoor fireplace and will be featuring a special three-course dinner on Valentine’s Day.

And, in honor of the special holiday in February, the Lobby Tea Court will be serving a special Chocolate Tea throughout the month of February and the Cabana Club, the poolside bar, will be offering special holiday drinks including a Chocolate Martini with White Crème de Cocoa and a Chocolate Covered Cherry with Skyy Vanilla, Godiva, and Grenadine.

This Valentines Day can be one to remember if spent at the lavish Arizona Biltmore, filled with decadence, relaxation and love.  For more information on the resort, check out www.arizonabiltmore.com.
