Is Your Wine Potentially Explosive?Grape fireworks are fun to watch, inexpensive, and harmless. Take a seedless table grape and slice it nearly in half, leaving a small portion of the skin still intact. Place the still-connected halves face down in the center of a plate, and put it in the microwave on "high" for about 40 seconds. In about 5 seconds, you'll see flares, sparks, and all kinds of viticultural pyrotechnics. Why the fireworks?
