Hôtel Meurice Opens L'Espace Bien-Etre

Spa features Caudalie's Wine-Based Treatments

Lovers of the grape and beauty have double cause to celebrate: the newly renovated Hôtel Meurice, a Dorchester Group hotel, has opened a spa that features Caudalie treatments and products.

meuriceNow those who cannot check in to Les Sources de Caudalie, the world's first "vinotherapie" spa, in Bordeaux, can book themselves treatments in Paris. Along with celebrity followers such as Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, Meurice guests can pamper themselves with dry body and face treatments, as well as facials and massages performed by specially trained masseuses from Les Sources de Caudalie. Caudalie products, which are made from crushed grape-seed extract, are used in the exclusive treatments, which include the Crushed Cabernet Scrub, California Grape Massage, and the Vinolift Anti-Aging Treatment.

Caudalie Espace Bien-Etre
meuriceThe new 3,200-square-foot Caudalie Espace Bien-Etre Spa and Fitness Center is located on the mezzanine around a garden courtyard between the ground and first floors. The décor conveys a simple purity with extensive use of marble, wood, stone, and glass. There are three treatment cabins. Separate changing rooms for women and men each have a sauna, steam bath, showers, and toilets, and there is a Jacuzzi accommodating up to six people. Guests on their way to Caudalie Espace Bien-Etre do not have to walk through the lobby or public areas of the hotel since elevators from guest room floors make direct stops to the mezzanine. The separate 860-square-foot fitness center offers the latest equipment, including a variety of presses (Chest press, Lat pull down, Abductor, Adductor), free weights, and cardio-training machines by Star Trac and Concept II.
