Shangri-La Resorts Are Kid Friendly

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts offer a number of services to make traveling with children a joy for both the children and their parents. The resorts offer kids clubs, activities and babysitting to name just a few.

All Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts provide the following:

Buffet at the Fijian Resort

  • Children up to the age of 18 stay free of charge when sharing the same room as their parents.
  • Children under the age of 6 enjoy complimentary buffet meals when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Baby beds are available in all Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts on request, as are high chairs in the restaurants.

In addition, many of the hotels, particularly the resorts, offer specially tailored facilities for children and toddlers. Here are some of the services the resorts offer for families:

Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort, Cebu, Philippines: This resort offers the Galleon Playroom for children 3 years and older. The playroom has such activities including crafts, beach excursions and sports. After their stay, members receive newsletters and birthday cards sent by the resort mascot.

The Fijian poolShangri-La's Fijian Resort on Yanuca Island, Fiji: This resort offers the "The Little Chef's Club" for children ages 2-12. The fully supervised, free club is open daily from 9am-12 noon and from 1pm-5pm. Activities include building sand castles, face painting and boat rides. Children receive the daily activity schedule upon checking into the resort. There is also a "Kids Eat Free" program for up to 2 children per room ages 12 and under.

Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore: This resort offers a specially equipped nursery and playhouse for children between the ages of 2 and 10. There are bicycles and a pool with waterslides.

Storytelling at the FijianShangri-La's Rasa Saying Resort and Shangri-La's Golden Sands Resort, both in Penang, Malaysia: These resorts share children's facilities. Located between the two resorts is The Starfy's Kids Club for children ages 4-12. There are daily recreational activities and a "circus school."

Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia: This resort offers a Sunshine Club for children ages 4-12. Activities include coloring, collecting shells and feeding the fish. A playground and a baby pool are also available.
