Broadway Cinema Returns to Dallas with the Premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Putting It Together

Cinemark USA, in association with Broadway Television Network and promotional partner Dallas Summer Musicals, will present in high definition digital format, dubbed BroadwayCinema�, Stephen Sondheim's Putting it Together: a musical review. This exclusive Texas engagement will premiere on Sunday, October 14 with screenings at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for matinees and $20 for evening showings and are on sale now online at www.cinemark.com or the theatre box office at Cinemark at Legacy, 7201 Central Expressway at Legacy Drive in Plano.
This dazzling review gives musical theatre fans the opportunity to see Cameron Mackintosh's original Broadway production of Putting it Together, a celebration of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim. This show was captured live in performance at Broadway's Barrymore Theatre by Broadway Television Network in BroadwayDigital� high definition and DolbyTM E 5.1 BroadwaySurround� sound.
Putting It Together marked the return to the Broadway stage of American icon Carol Burnett in her first musical role in 35 years, and includes unforgettable songs from Sondheim hits like A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, Sweeney Todd, and Dick Tracy. Broadway luminaries George Hearn (Tony Award TM winner for La Cage Aux Folles, Sunset Boulevard), John Barrowman (Olivier Award nominee for The Fix), Ruthie Henshall (Olivier Award winner for She Loves Me, and Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Strangers, Beverly Hills Cop) join Ms. Burnett in bringing to life more than thirty of Broadway's most treasured songs.

Broadway Television Network captured the final performance of Putting It Together, which was directed by EmmyTM winner Don Roy King. Technology support for BroadwayCinema� exhibition is led by the DLP Cinema� technology group at Texas Instruments, QuVIS, Inc., Lucas Film LTD's THX division and Dolby Laboratories. The BroadwayCinema� exhibition of Putting It Together is scheduled concurrently with the show's North American pay-per-view television premiere on Sunday, October 14.
