Melbourne Crown Spa

Lavish World of Pampering
Not Only for the Rich and Famous

By Madelyn Miller

The opulent Crown Spa, located within the luxurious five star plus Crown Towers Hotel, was previously the exclusive pampering and indulgence playground of international high rollers and wealthy hotel guests.

Now, Crown Spa is opening its lavish world of pampering and welcoming everyone to enjoy the ultimate in Eastern and Western health and beauty treatments in surroundings that are among the most tranquil and beautiful in the world.

On a recent trip to Melbourne, I was pampered and given the royal treatment. Ushered into a deluxe suite, I had my own huge private Jacuzzi in the center of the room. I came about a half hour early and then soaked to a blissful state.  I don’t remember too much about my blissful treatment, as my massage therapist rubbed my body so skillfully I slept. And when she suggested dying my eyelashes black, I agreed. I would have agreed to almost anything at that moment.

And when I was awake enough to open my eyes, I loved my new look. I was grateful to her for my new look in addition to my sybaritic spa experience.

Spa visitors can indulge in over 60 specialist Aveda and Crown Spa treatments including facial treatments, body treatments, hand and foot treatments, make up, waxing, tanning and hair services.

Facial treatments include an eye zone wrap, which focuses on the delicate skin around the eye to reduce puffiness and soften wrinkles.  Body treatments include an alguomer hydrobath, which combines algae’s and thermal water jet massage to contour, slim and detoxify the body.

The full range of hair services including coloring, setting and styling are also available at Crown Spa along with many other treatments combining the best of Western and Eastern relaxation practices.

Visitors to Crown Spa will be in awe of the spa’s décor, which creates an immediate sense of indulgence and tranquility, helping to leave the stress of the everyday behind.  Soft neutral colors, sandstone paving and warm timber panelling contribute to the calm oasis that is Crown Spa.  Frosted glass panels allow natural light to filter into private lounges, which offer a relaxing haven between treatments.

Crown Spa boasts separate facilities for men and women, which ensures privacy for all visitors.  Couples and groups visiting Crown Spa can take advantage of deluxe suites, so the indulgence of pampering can be shared with family and friends.

Crown Spa is a chance for all pampering devotees to enjoy the ultimate in luxury, relaxation and rejuvenation as part of any Crown Towers package.
