Romance in the Wilds of Canada

King Pacific Lodge

Putting the wild back into wildly romantic , King Pacific Lodge is offering a getaway on the wild side. Features of the Wildly Romantic Getaway include a floatplane flight into the lodge, a heli-sightseeing trip over the Great Bear Rainforest, a picnic on a deserted beach and a full day of guided ocean fishing. The program runs during the King Pacific Lodge season, from June to October, 2002.

King Pacific Lodge, a floating wilderness lodge, moored at Princess Royal Island in Northern British Columbia, is an oasis of comfort in a pristine location. After a bird s eye view of the Inside Passage on the floatplane journey from Prince Rupert to the front door of the lodge, couples leave the world behind as they book in for  a three-, four- or seven-night adventure.

Guests at King Pacific Lodge can spend as much time getting acquainted with the wilderness as they like. Guides are on hand for ocean fishing, kayaking the sheltered bays and inlets and hiking the rarely visited islands and beaches. After a day s adventure the health club beckons with its hot tub, sauna, steam room and full-time therapist.  Fireside cocktails combine with tall tales of the day as guests unwind and recharge. More romantic touches in this getaway include and an hour s aromatherapy treatment each, a bottle of champagne in the room, breakfast in bed and two fluffy terry bathrobes to take home.

To reserve your Wildly Romantic getaway or for more information contact King Pacific Lodge. The Wildly Romantic package costs $US 4950 per couple for three nights.
