Paradise Point Resort & Spa

Married With Children package:

Families enjoy the variety of amenities available at Paradise Point Resort & Spa with the fun-themed Married With Children package, prices starting at $409. The package includes one night accommodations in a Lanai garden guestroom for a family of four (two adults and two children, ages 17 and under), a welcome amenity of frosty Corona beers served with chips and salsa for the "big kids" and milk and cookies for the "little kids", one round of putting golf on the 18-hole course for the entire family (2 adults and two children ages eight years old and older), a pepperoni pizza delivered to the guestroom, complimentary parking and all applicable taxes and gratuities. The Married With Children package is available May 24, 2002 through September 1, 2002, based on availability. Additional nights can be booked without amenities. Summer Kids Kamp and Family Activities:

The summer Kids Kamp program is made up of a fun-variety of activities aimed at children ages 3 to 12 years old including, nature walks, which explore the sealife pond and wildlife throughout the resort, arts & crafts that focus on the beach location (collecting seashells to make art, jewelry, etc.) and outdoor recreational games, including aquatic sports, putting golf tournaments and more. The Kids Kamp program is offered 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday), beginning Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The price for a half-day Kids Kamp session is $25.00 (9:30am - 12:30pm or 1pm-4pm) or $50.00 for a full day (9:30am - 4pm), which includes a box lunch.  Half-day participants can order a box lunch for an additional charge. The resort also features family activities including "Dive In Movie Nights" featuring family movies on a big screen TV viewed from a float or chaise lounge chair at the main pool, sandcastle building contests and nightly beach bonfires with homemade smores and great views of the SeaWorld fireworks.

Recreation and Local Attractions:

Adults and children keep busy at the resort with an abundance of recreational activities, including five swimming pools, five tennis courts, a full-service marina with rentals, an 18-hole putting golf course, NBA regulation basketball court, bike rentals, lawn croquet, and sand volleyball. The resort's guest recreation team offers a convenient way to experience a variety of activities with the Fit Fore Fun Pass, priced at $25 per person. The Fit Fore Fun Pass includes 24-hour use of the tennis courts (including racquet), basketball court, single bikes, miniature golf, 10 percent discount at the marina, 10 percent discount on all other bike rentals (tandems and quadracycles) and 10 percent discount on massage treatments at the Spa. Several of San Diego's popular attractions are conveniently located within 15-minutes of the resort, including Balboa Park, downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter, La Jolla, SeaWorld and the Zoo. The resort's concierge offers discount tickets to all local theme parks, including SeaWorld Adventure Park, World-Famous San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park and LEGOLAND.

The Spa:

Adults enjoy the respite of the resort's new world-class spa and fitness center, featuring Indonesian-themed treatments and decor. The Spa offers a full line of massage treatments, including hot stone massage, Balinese massage and sports massage; Indonesian rituals include the Javanese lulur royal treatment and volcanic earth clay ritual treatment; body treatments include the milk and honey treatment and seaside salt glow treatment; facial care includes the luminous "C and Sea" facial (vitamin C and seaweed) and executive men's facial; and a full service salon. Guests also enjoy the use of a eucalyptus-infused steam room and dry sauna in the separate men and women's locker facilities. The state-of-the-art fitness center features Cybex and Precor workout equipment, free-weights, two televisions, and on-site personal trainers. A $10 per day fee is applied for fitness center use, or complimentary with the purchase of $85 or more in spa treatments. New this summer - Thai massage, an ancient, interactive style of massage that combines point pressure techniques with a variety of stretching movements applied slowly in patterns of gentle rocking and rhythmic compressions. 4th of July All American BBQ:

Celebrate America's holiday - 4th of July - with a big BBQ blowout at Paradise Point Resort & Spa. The All American 4th of July BBQ is a buffet-style dinner featuring traditional BBQ cuisine with all the fixings, live entertainment on an outdoor stage and the largest fireworks display in San Diego directly over the bay. The All American BBQ event is held on Thursday, July 4, 2002 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Paradise Lawn overlooking the bay and at the adjacent Barefoot Bar & Grill.
