Shop until you drop in Singapore
Singapore Airlines is giving passengers a discount card
that they can use in 300 shops and restaurants in Singapore. Passengers on
all SIA flights to Singapore from May 1 until October 31 will be given the
Splendour Card to show at participating outlets before they make their
purchase. SIA has introduced the card in conjunction with Visa
International, the credit card company. The card entitles them to a variety
of benefits, including discounts, free drinks and free gifts.
SIA's Marketing vice president, Huang Cheng Eng said:
"We are very excited. SIA passengers will be able to enjoy discounts and
value-added services from chic boutiques to trendy entertainment spots in
Singapore. More shops and F&B outlets will be added in the coming months."
Plans are underway to introduce such a card for Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala
Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane
