When you think of a white xmas, this is what you think of. And if you want to have really unique gifts for the holidays, a visit to German Christmas market is just what Santa ordered.

Since these are annual events, plan to make next Christmas a very merry and international one

Nuremberg Nov. 30^th to Dec. 24^th

„Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt“
Nuremberg, Main market square

World famous Christmas market at the Main market square between Town Hall, Church of Our Lady and „Beautiful Foun-tain“.
Highlights: Opening ceremony by the Nuremberg Christchild Nov. 30^th  at 5.30 p.m.; Lantern procession of the Nuremberg pupils December 13^th at 6.15 p.m.
Opening times: November 30^th: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.; mondays to wednesdays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., thursdays to saturdays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., sundays 10.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Christmas Eve until 2 p.m.

Rothenburg o.d.T. Nov. 30^th to Dec. 22^nd

„Alt-Rothenburger Reiterlesmarkt“
Rothenburg, „Green Market“ (inner courtyard of the Town Hall)
Atmospheric market with a more than 500 year old tradition. Highlights: Daily at 5 p.m.: Round of the „Pelzmärtel“ ( a kind of symbol of the market, similar to a german Santa Claus)

Opening times: mondays to fridays 12.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., saturdays 10.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., sundays 10.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Würzburg Nov. 30^th to Dec. 23^rd

„Würzburg Christmas market“

Wuerzburg, Main market square

Market in front of the historic buildings of St. Mary’s Chapel and baroque Falcon House.
Highlights: Each saturday at 5 p.m. trombone concert.

Opening times: mondays to saturdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., sundays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

„Bamberg Christmas market“

Bamberg, Maximilian place

Market in baroque ambience with about 50 market stalls.

Opening times: mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays, fridays 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., thursdays 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., saturdays 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
