Evalu8Expert Advise for FreeEvalu8.org is an entertainment, food, travel and review site with its roots in Vancouver, the British Columbia region and the Pacific Northwest. Think of it as the lifestyle section in your daily paper -- except free! Evalu8.org is a great place to get impartial, expert advice before buying virtually anything online (and for that matter, in the "real world"). You will also find free columns from some of your favorite food, entertainment and travel writers, free recipes and hot tips on the best events and bargain shopping in the region. Among the features are "Ask the Bargain Shopper" (free advice on all kinds of consumer matters); "Big Deal of the Day" (usually an insider-type factory sale, but sometimes a big, local unsung bargain); "Editor's Book Pick" (a different book selection every day); and "Hot and New" (new additions to the site). Columns and reviews come from the likes of food stylist Nathan Fong (Fong on Food); travel guru Madelyn Miller (The Travel Lady); film critic and travel writer John T.D.
