Tea with Barbie® 2003 Dates March 22 & 29 The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota has earned the AAA Four Diamond Award for Lodging and the Mobil Travel Guide Four Star Award for Lodging. The hotel overlooks Sarasota Bay and is located in the heart of downtown Sarasota. Everyone’s favorite blonde is returning to The
Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota this season! Barbie®, the venerable Mattel doll that
has been a favorite with girls for more than 40 years, will be the theme for
two delightful tea events each month beginning in March and continuing
through July.
Young ladies may bring their favorite Barbie® doll and
their friends to tea at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, Florida. Guests will
nibble on mini-finger sandwiches and assorted tea cookies in favorite Barbie
shapes like shoes, lipsticks, and sunglasses. Guests will sip hot chocolate
while playing with Barbie’s fully-equipped miniature hotel and other Barbie
toys and products. Face painting, Barbie story-telling and a visit from
Barbie herself complete the festive and feminine atmosphere. Young ladies
participating will receive a goodie bag. In addition, one lucky young
participant will win a special Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota Grand Hotel Barbie®
doll. 
All Tea with Barbie® events take place on Saturdays
from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in The Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton,
Sarasota. Prices are $39 for adults and $32 for children. Seating is limited
and reservations are required for each Barbie Tea® event. Please call
