It’s always a party at Dick’s Last Resort, the “Shame o’ Dallas,” but watch Dick swing into high gear for Mardi Gras. Nobody in Dallas throws a better Mardi Gras party! Can’t make it to the French Quarter this year? Then Dick’s is the only other place to be for Fat Tuesday, February 5th. Here is what is going on in Louisianna--but Dick's is the closest second.

IT’S MARDI GRAS PARTY TIME AT DICK’S LAST RESORT!

Dick’s King and Queen of Mardi Gras will lead costumed revelers in a boisterous parade, throwing beads and other souvenirs to the crowd, while The Gumbo Kings play that funky music just like they do down on the Bayou—no way to keep from dancing, even if it’s only in your chair. Dick's has all the elements to throw the best Mardi Gras party in town--it's loud, it's crazy and the drinks are potent. And then there's the food--real stick to your ribs stuff--none of that light stuff. (okay, they will make you a salad if you insist) I'd highly recommend the ribs.

The best day of the Year to be FAT

Dick’s Fat Tuesday Contest puts the emphasis on F-A-T, with the winner of the best costume contest getting paid double their weight in cash! I wish there was a reality show like that. Perhaps "the biggest gainers."
