I Found My Perfect Match
at the Mansfield Hotel in New York

A love letter to my favourite New York Hotel

By Madelyn Miller

If only I could find a man I love as much as the MANSFIELD HOTEL. A man who understood my love of shopping, my need for an instant and constant internet connection, my admiration for all things trendy and new….in short, the Mansfied understands my needs, my wants, my desires

If I described myself as a single female shopaholic, my match would be located exactly where the Mansfield is, a hop, step and a jump from Fifth Avenue, halfway between Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord and Taylor. What a politically correct location.

If I described myself as a value conscious consumer, I felt I got more than my money’s worth at the Mansfield with bonuses like city magazines, apples, free internet connections and more.

And as far as being thoughtful, helpful and having a good sense of humor,…well that describes the concierges perfectly. They were all young, trendy, good-looking and the only thing I could not believe is how much they knew about the city at their young age.

What a match.  I stayed there a week (a very long term relationship between me and a hotel) and felt so at home, I would love to have a long term relationship.

This New York boutique hotel has not only style, character and impeccable service, its central location puts you steps away from Times Square, Broadway, and fabulous Fifth Avenue shopping. Featuring numerous Amenities.

The Mansfield Hotel, just off Fifth Avenue on elegant West 44th Street, boasts the M Bar, which serves great specialty drinks and light food under a beautiful doomed skylight, and the softly-illuminated Library Lounge, where breakfast is served.  The hotel provides complimentary high-speed internet access, a complimentary 24-hour espressso/cappuccino/tea bar, a complimentary video- , CD- and book-lending library, discounted rates on overnight parking, complimentary incoming faxes, complimentary shoe shine service, and a health cub affiliation.  In-room amenities include color TV with cable and VCR, a CD player, 2-line telephones with data-port and voice mail, complimentary bottle spring water, Belgian cotton bed linens, a down comforter, Frette bathrobes, Aveda bath amenities, and more
