Dr. Ed Cadman, MD    , Dean of the Department of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa since 1999.  Formerly the University of California at San Francisco’s Cancer Research Institute Director, Chairman of Medicine at Yale University, and Chief of Staff and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, Yale New Haven Hospital. 

Dr. Malik Cotter, DAc, Dipl.OM, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and owner of Dragon’s Den Healing Center in Makawao, Maui. Dr. Cotter also holds an Honorary Professorship at a Chinese Medical University, is certified in Chinese Herbology, and teaches Qi Gong and Ta’i Ji at Maui Community College.  An author and consultant to a major herb company, he lectures internationally.

Maui Canoe Regatta Challenge:  One of Hawaii’s oldest ocean sports, outrigger canoe paddling challenges masters and novices alike.  Held on Wailea Beach, the series of races kick off with a traditional Hawaiian blessing, followed by a series of short regatta races. Proceeds benefit Kihei Canoe Club.

“Fit for Life” Health Expo: Maui’s largest health exhibition featuring innovative healthcare product companies, health and wellness practitioners and services, health screenings and Muscle Beach – a series of body building and yoga poses – at The Shops at Wailea.

Body Movement Clinics:  A combination of fitness and playing lessons for golfers and tennis players at the Wailea Golf Club and Wailea Tennis Club.

“LifeFeast” Charity Benefit Dinner: A celebration of food and life featuring Chef Gary Danko of Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco, a Mobil Five Star establishment.  Named James Beard California Chef of the Year and Best Restaurant in San Francisco, Danko will prepare a four-course dinner under the stars at The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui.  Dinner is preceded by an intimate wine reception.  Proceeds benefit a local charity.
