Surfing StockholmBy Madelyn MillerSurrounded by water, Stockholm is a paradise for people who love boating, sailing, or cruising. Built on 14 islands, you are never far from the water. And after a week of exploring the city and surrounding areas, I found the best place to surf.
Cyber-surfing that is. The lower floors of the hotel, including the lobby, restaurants and mezzanine, are set up for wi-fi surfing, for in house guests this service is currently provided at no additional charge. This is especially valuable, because internet cafes are not plentiful in this sophisticated city. I love sitting at my giant size desk (bigger and certainly neater than the one I have at home) with five international plug options plus two Swedish outlets. I feel totally plugged in and can recharge my camera battery, computer, and etc. all at one time.
