Clever Breakfast Dish Wins Trip To Women’s Escape

“Write Your Way” to the “Women’s Escape to the Inns & Arts of St. Augustine, Florida” with a Clever Breakfast Dish. Your favorite breakfast recipe (Casserole, Baked goodie or Fruit dish) could win the Grand Prize of an All Expense paid trip to the Women’s Escape. Typewritten recipes of one page only are being accepted with a brief story of your recipe’s origin by August 15, 2004. Cash prizes from $50-$100 are awarded to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th runners-up in this tasty contest. Recipes are reviewed by the Women’s Escape committee and will be included in the Women’s Escape Breakfast Collection cookbook.

The Grand Prize includes a complimentary 3-night stay at ’63 Orange Street’ and $125 Women’s Escape Package. While transportation to St. Augustine is not included, a variety of exciting events await the Grand Prize Winner and guests when they arrive. There is a $125 Escape Package charge if the winner invites a guest to share her room. Guests arriving at the historic inn of their choice receive a welcome package that includes the Women’s Escape Breakfast Collection cookbook.

One of the renowned women’s art events in the Southeast offers Women a weekend retreat away from the daily grind. The Women’s Escape features art exhibits and a creative selection of workshops to enjoy. Discover tips on pottery, stained glass techniques, and furniture painting. Learn about sculpting or the art of batik, a fascinating technique using wax to cover areas of a fabric design before dyeing. Workshops on watercolors and jewelry making will also be held at The Art District at San Sebastian.
