Wilderness Adventure Photographer
Captures 95 Locations on 5 Continents for Napa Valley Gallery
"Travelling around the world, taking photographs of the most beautiful
spots on earth, is not a bad way to make a living." -- Hugh Lawton
With more than 100 limited edition prints from
Wilderness areas around the world (Hawaii to Spain to Japan to Wisconsin to
Brazil and soon Antarctica), Hugh Lawton has just opened Manzanita Gallery
in Napa Valley, California.
The collection includes works from 95 locations on 5
continents over the past 17 years. The gallery is located in the Vintage
1870 Center at 6525 Washington Street Yountville, California 94599.
It represents the culmination of 17 years of hiking,
wilderness exploration and photography. The gallery will display
hand-crafted, limited edition prints selected from the catalog of more than
1,700 images on the Manzanita web site
www.manzanita-ent.com. The web site contains images from 95 wilderness
locations on 5 continents.
In addition to the limited edition prints, Manzanita
Gallery will sell maps, hiking books, and photography books -- including
support photography workshops and a guest artist program.
"I hope that the people who visit the gallery will come
to appreciate the magnificent random beauty of the wilderness locations that
I have come to love".
Only 100 of each image will be printed, and each print
will be signed and numbered by the artist.
The framed limited edition prints are available in the
following sizes: 8x8, 14x14, 16x16 for $175, $275 and $375, respectively.
Matted, unframed versions are available for $125, $200, and $275
respectively. Additional costs include packaging, freight and insurance.
