Help Your Children Connect One Word at a Time

As a parent, are you continually searching for the best and brightest educational toys that encourage social interaction, language development, and cognitive skills? Then you need look no further because Language Littles, the creator of bilingual and language development dolls for toddlers and preschoolers has just come out with their newest doll, Korean Young-Hee.

Early childhood development experts have long known that most of a person's brain development occurs before age 5.  This is also the best time to introduce a child to a foreign language, as they are learning and mastering syntax.  Preschools are even incorporating more foreign languages into their curriculum. Repetition and encouragement at home however, is still of key importance for any child learning a new skill.

Beginning with French Jolie, Spanish Lizzie, Italian Sophie and Chinese Ling, the Language Little line has grown to include Spanish Ricky, Japanese Yumi, Hebrew Sarah and David, German Emma, Russian Anna, Greek Alexa, and Korean Young-Hee. In Spring 2005, the company introduced its newest line of Teach-A-Tot dolls that help toddlers learn fundamentally basic skills such as dressing themselves.  The dolls are each 16" tall, making them easy to tote around for continual learning and role-playing in the car, grocery store and even for show and tell.

With just a squeeze of the right hand the doll will introduce itself, and with a squeeze of the left hand the doll will begin a series of kid-friendly words and phrases.  The dolls express "I love you" in English and their native language with a touch to the tiny heart on their right knee.  Real children fluent to the language have recorded all of the Language Littles voices. Each doll is designed to speak 25 words and phrases in both English and their first language.  They are also available as 8" Mini dolls.

Young-Hee, the newest addition to the Language Littles family of dolls, speaks both Korean and English. As well as language lessons and common greetings, she also chats about her favorite activities such as singing, dancing, swimming, and skating. At 16" tall, Young-Hee is dressed to impress.  Her soft, fuzzy vest and crinkly, iridescent skirt show off numerous shades of pink. She even comes accessorized with a magenta bag to match her shoes.

Language Littles and Teach-A-Tot dolls are available at select specialty retailers nationwide.  For more information please call Language Littles at 212-535-8122 or visit their Website at www.LanguageLittles.com or the Teach A Tot website at www.TeachATot.com .
