Hotel Madera Introduces Timeless Artworks...and All That Jazz!

Hotel Madera jazzes up Thursday nights with a package that catches the pulse of Dupont Circle's lively arts and music scene. The hotel has teamed up with the Phillips Collection to offer the "We've Got Rhythm package."

The "We've Got Rhythm" package includes deluxe accommodations for two on Thursday Evenings, two tickets to the Phillips' Collection's "Artful Evening" and a stunning coffee table book Art Beyond Isms Masterworks from El Greco to Picasso, featuring paintings by the world's most renown artists. The package is available for $149 on Thursday nights and additional nights are $129.

Artful Evenings at the Phillips Collection begin every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the music room. Guests are treated to live jazz and refreshments while they socialize and admire the latest exhibition. The Phillips Collection, America's first museum of modern art, opened in 1921 in the home of Duncan Phillips (1886-1966). Renoir's great masterpiece Luncheon of the Boating Party hangs there, along with other outstanding Impressionist paintings by Van Gogh, Monet, Degas and Cézanne.
