Take Two and Don’t Call Me In The Morning

The Miracle Ball Method

You probably won’t need to call the doctor if you take two Miracle Balls and use them as author Elaine Petrone prescribes.

I had just made a big commitment to the Yoga studio in my loft complex. Paid ahead for a whole series. On the day that I was so jetlagged from a trip to Mexico and decided to skip a class, the postman delivered a package with these two little balls and a do it yourself instruction book.

Had the ancient Gods of the Mayans noticed how badly I needed this method? Was it a woo-woo phenomena or mere co-incidence? You be the judge.  But whatever the reasons they arrived, the timing was perfect, and the technique useful.

Chronic pain, anxiety, and a thickening waistline can all be relieved by The Miracle Ball Method. If you are one of the 65 million Americans who suffer from back pain each year, or one of the 40 million migraine sufferers, or one of the 19 million who take antidepressants for stress relief, it may be hard to believe that two small balls can help you. But get on the ball and see. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain from this low-maintenance, non-invasive, gentle method of bodywork.

“When I first started rolling that little ball under my arm I thought, this is ridiculous…but then, I felt like I’d found Nirvana”—Fitness Magazine

As a young dancer Elaine Petrone suffered a crippling back injury. Orthopedists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and others told her she might never walk again without a cane. Unwilling to accept pain and inactivity, she set out to find a way to heal herself.

“I highly recommend The Miracle Ball Method, as so many of my patients have received relief from it.”—Janet Freedman, M.D., Orthopedist, The Rehabilitation Center of Southwestern Connecticut at Stamford Hospital, Stamford, CT

Her quest for health in the world of alternative medicine and bodywork resulted in the creation of her own method of pain relief—The Miracle Ball Method. She discovered that by letting her body’s weight be absorbed by two small balls, breathing fully, and performing some simple unexercises, her own body was able to cure itself. She has dedicated her life to showing others the power of the balls and of their own bodies.

The Miracle Ball Method is a complete healing kit that will do three things: relieve pain, reshape your body, and reduce stress.  Petrone first explains how to breathe (you may think you are doing that already now, but most people actually hold their breath for much of the day). Then she shows you how to rest the weight of your body on the balls, let yourself sink into them, breathe, and feel the tension dissipate. As the tension lifts, the body realigns itself, soothing stressed and tight muscles that are the cause of pain and anxiety.

Included in the book are exercises to:

  • relieve anxiety, tense muscles, and fatigue

  • promote energy restoration

  • slim the thighs, stretch the abdomen and strengthen the hips

  • relieve sciatic pain and hip discomfort

  • relieve foot pain, stiff leg joints, and lower back muscles

  • relieve tension headaches and neck and shoulder stiffness

Based on one key truth—you cannot help but rejuvenate your body when you reduce your muscle tension—The Miracle Ball Method is a simple, ground-breaking program of relief that will transform anyone who uses it.

“A fascinatingly simple and effective way to remove stress and tension from the body.”—Vogue Magazine
